Title CHURCH OF SAN LORENZO MARTIRE
DescriptionThe parish church of San Lorenzo was initially built inside the Malatesta castle, 1290. It was moved to its present site in 1819. On August 10, on the churchyard is celebrated the Holy Mass in honor of the patron saint of the town: San Lorenzo.

Title ORATORY OF SAN ROCCO
DescriptionThe oratory of San Rocco is the oldest church in Gatteo, probably built in the second half of the fourteenth century. Inside there are a lot of votive frescoes dedicated to the Virgin Mary, St. Rocco, St. Sebastian and other saints.

Title THE FRESCOES OF SAN ROCCO
DescriptionThe frescoes are into the oratory of San Rocco. They are votive paintings, dating back to the XV-XVI centuries, whose subjects refer to the plague of 1435-36 and 1458-61, representing the "anti-pest" saints, such as San Rocco and San Sebastiano.
